The Cranky Nitro Halftail Super Shallow by H2O Tackle runs on the surface when retrieved slowly and about 1 to 2 inches below the surface when retrieved quickly. The front of the bait is solid plastic with through wire construction. The replaceable rubber tail is turned onto a heavy-duty, custom-made spring with a centering pin for easy installation. This is an easy to retrieve bait with a lot of tail action that works great to cast over shallow weeds. It also can be trolled.
